The first name of Eger Films was Human Rights Multimedia, when Frederic Eger created his first production company for producing and hosting
a 120 minutes news talk-show called Droits comme un I (literally Straight like an I) on global issues and human rights.
The first edition aired on 7 November 1998 in full live on a local Parisian television. Since 1995, Fred has been struggling and supporting Human and Earth Rights.
After the show stopped being aired on March 1999, Frederic Eger created and launched another news magazine in the same mood and genre in December 1999 for a news satellite channel, Télévisions Locales Indépendantes (TLI). The show was called Human Rights Everyday and was a 52 minutes news magazine on humanitarian and human rights NGOs news.
On July 4, 2001, Human Rights Multimedia changes its name to Eger Films in order to enlarge to more
mainstream products and creations in the area of narrative dramas and comedies for TV and cinema.
In the summer 2002, after being strongly selected, Fred joins the 2002 UCLA Summer Professional Program in Producing.
There, Fred learned the different stages of creation narratives from screenwriting and development through
producing to marketing sitcoms, TV series to theatrical films.
In the following fall 2002 after returning from Los Angeles to Paris, Fred has been working around the world
as an independent producer and writer in journalism and screenwriting.
From 2005 until today, Fred also worked as reporter-editor for the weekly newspaper
The Epoch Times, an international independent written press group, in which he wrote papers on global issues and the film industry.
On April 9, 2005, Eger Films entered pre-production of the short
Ronny & Cindy until production period was completed on 30 May 2005. After his eight years experience in broadcast journalism, Frederic Eger wanted to articulate
the short's unrealistic characters lives and real life people testimonials. in a documentary he entitled
Ronny & Cindy In All of Us,
Ronny & Cindy, and, Ronny & Cindy in All of Us premiered at the Montreal AMC Theatre Forum 22.
On 31 march and 1 April 2007, Eger Films produced the short version of the sequel of
Ronny & Cindy :
When Ronny met Cindy ?!. It had its International and North-American Premiere at the
Palo Alto Downtown Film Festival on Friday 20 july 2007, its European Premiere on 26 July 2007 for two consecutive days at the
Slow Film Festival in Hungary and its Canadian Premiere at the
Montreal Festival of New Cinema in October 2007.
Frederic Eger shares birth day with Ingmar Bergman,
Lino Ventura,
Joel Silver and
Matthew Fox.

If you are a writer, you can email a few words pitch line to Producer Frederic Eger and if the President of Eger Films replies with some interest, there should be a
Confidential Submission Agreement attached to the mail. This confidentiality agreement must be printed in two copies, signed and post mailed along with a copy
of your picture identification to Eger Films offices in France or Canada or USA.
Once, and only once, the confidentiality agreement is received by Eger Films, signed and returned to the writer, the writer can submit either by email a PDF copy or
preferably a hard copy of the copyrighted material by post.
Please consider that Eger Films has already several pictures and a news magazine in development and/or at different production periods for each film or television project.
Therefore, besides reading your script and analyzing its potential, chances of having your script optioned, acquired and/or developed by Eger Films are low.
You are a professional or an individual, a non-profit organization or a corporation, Eger Films produces your advertising/commercial videos, short documentaries and other promotional videos from 30 seconds to 10 minutes for your events, inaugurations, exhibitions, conferences, weddings. A flat fee of 1200 Euros all taxes included for a 12 hours production work (shooting, editing, DVD production and on-line broadcasting on You Tube or Google). Any additional hours of works are billed at the lowest minimum Union hourly rate of 63 euros, usually we charge 100 euros/hour. Eger Films reminds that Union Fees are minimums and that fees are based on the experience, the talent and the fame. Vous êtes un professionnel ou un particulier, une association ou une société, Eger Films produit vos publicitiés, court documentaires et autres vidéos promotionnelles de 30 secondes à 10 minutes pour vos événementiels, congrès, conférence, inauguration, opérations de communication, campagnes de mobilisation ou pour simplement faire connaître vos activités. Pour un forfait de 1200 Euros TTC et 12 heures de travail (tournage, montage et remise d'un DVD et une diffusion sur You Tube ou Google). Toute heure supplémentaire travaillée est facturée au minimum au tarif syndical de la profession de Réalisateur de 63 HT Euros/heure, Eger Films facture en général 100 euros/heure. Eger Films rappelle que le barême syndical est un minimum et que la facturation est fondée sur l'expérience, les compétences et la notoriété de l'Auteur - Réalisateur - Producteur. Le barème syndical est un minimum à titre indicatif. Les honoraires d'un Auteur-Réalisateur-Producteur sont libres et proportionnels aux compétences, à l'expérience et à la notoriété de l'Auteur-Réalisateur-Producteur. Frederic Eger est diplômé de l'Université de Californie Los Angeles (UCLA), Membre de la Société Civile des Auteurs Multimédia (SCAM) et de la Société des Réalisateurs de Films en France.
